How do I download my PLR product?
Download your product using these steps:
1) Right-click the download link.
2) Select “Save Target As…” (for Internet Explorer) or “Save Link As..” (Mozilla Firefox).
A download screen will appear asking you where you want to save the file to on your computer.

Important! Many of our products contain items that are large, therefore we compress them into zip files.
How do I open my Zip file?
Here's how to open a zip file…
Many computers will have a built-in unzip program. To use it:
1) Once your file is downloaded, right-click the file
2) Select “Open With” and choose “Compressed (zipped) folders”.
A dialogue box will open with the folder inside.
3) Click the folder ONCE to select it
4) Then go to “File” –> “Extract All” and follow the rest of the steps in the dialogue box.
If you don’t have a built-in program, there are many available online for free. You can try 7zip or Zip Genius.
Troubleshooting your downloaded product…
Many of our products are large or have multiple components. Sometimes the folders do not download fully for various reasons. When this happens your files may not open properly.
To save yourself some time and effort, delete the original unsuccessful download, download the zip folders again. Make sure they downloaded completely and unzip the folder again. Once unzipped, check the files. If the files still do not open correctly, please contact us by submitting a support ticket and giving as much information and detail as possible.
I can't open the file
Some of our files are created using Microsoft Word. If you can't open the document, don't panic. There are a few things you can do to troubleshoot the problem and save yourself some time.
Re-download the product from your account – A partially downloaded file is often the problem.
Make sure your version of Word (OpenOffice or whatever you are using to open doc files) is up to date and can open both .doc and docx.
If these tips don't fix things for you, please contact us giving as much detail as possible.
The download file is empty
Did you download a zip file but the folder seems to be empty? This happens when a zip file doesn't download completely. Since some of our files have multiple components or are large, it may take a few extra minutes to fully download.
To solve this – rename the partially downloaded file on your computer. Log in to your account and download again.
Problems Unzipping Files with WinZip (Windows)
If you are using Windows, many people report having problems with WinZip and unzipping your files, so we recommend using 7Zip, which is free and you'll find here. Please make sure you use version 9.20 or newer.

Frequently Asked Questions about Private Label Rights Content
Q: What is PLR Content?
PLR is short for Private label rights (PLR). PLR content is content that you can re-brand and use as your own. Sometimes, PLR content is called “White Label Content”, “Readymade Content”, or “Done-For-You Content”. If you’re not sure about what rights come with your PLR content, ask the seller. We’ll be happy to help you.
You can find PLR Content Studio's Private Label Rights License Agreement here, which will explain exactly what you CAN and CANNOT do with PLR content.
Q: Wouldn't it be plagiarizing or copying to use this content?
No. Private label rights content is created with the understanding that customers will use it on their own website, in their marketing materials or in their own products. Many PLR content sellers are delighted to come across their material on other websites.
Q: Can I put my name as the author on the PLR content I buy?
Yes, you can. PLR providers give you this right when you buy the content.
However, some buyers feel uncomfortable doing this. If that’s the case for you, there are other ways to present the material without claiming authorship. For example, you could say “With [Your Name]” or “Insights by [Your Name]” or “Introduction by [Your Name]” or “Edited by [Your Name]”. All of these options allow you to brand the material as your own without expressly stating that you wrote it.
Q: What about ‘duplicate content’ issues with search engines?
‘Duplicate content’ became a concern a few years ago when spammers would attempt to trick the search engines into ranking websites by creating 100’s of website pages on a single site with ALL pages having the exact same content. This resulted in a poor quality site that offered no value to users.
Search engines consider “duplicate content” to be websites that have the same content repeated on multiple pages for the sole purpose of getting traffic. If your website has the same PLR content as another site, search engines won’t care. That’s not considered duplicate content and it won’t hurt your ranking or the other website owners. Think of using PLR content more like TV show syndication – a TV show can appear on multiple TV channels across the globe.
Q: How can PLR help me grow my mailing list?
You can use PLR to create multiple opt-in gifts. If you have multiple opt-in areas on your website, then you’ll get more subscribers for your mailing list. The more your mailing list grows, the more people you have to share your products and services with. Your subscribers win because they accessed great content. You win because you can continue to serve your visitors long after they’ve left your website.
Q: Can I sell the PLR content I buy to others?
Yes. You can take PLR content and sell it to your customers, but only for their personal use. You CANNOT take PLR and sell it to your customers as PLR. That’s because your customers don’t have permission to change or edit the PLR content. Only you, the original buyer, has that right.
Q: What are some ways to repurpose PLR content?
You can take most written PLR content and turn it into other formats like video and audio. You could take a PLR article on the benefits of eating whole grains and turn it into a Facebook Live video. You could use a PLR report about the vegetarianism as content for your latest podcast episodes.
Keep in mind you can also use PLR content as content upgrades. If you bought a PLR blog post on the topic of overcoming insomnia, you could create a bedtime checklist as an upgrade. Invite your visitors to download the checklist by subscribing to your mailing list.
Q: Can I publish PLR content in a Kindle Book?
Unfortunately, no. Publishing an eBook containing private label rights content is against Amazon’s terms of service. This is because Amazon wants the books on their website to be 100% unique content. If you try to upload PLR content, you may have your account banned and not be allowed to publish any of your future books through the Amazon Kindle program.
Q: Can I mix different PLR content together?
Q: How can PLR content be used to increase my profits?
You can use PLR content to create a sales funnel that your customers can travel through. Post PLR content to social media so visitors come to your website. On your website, you can post PLR on your blog and entice visitors to sign up for your mailing list.
Then you can create an autoresponder series from PLR that promotes your latest product or service. PLR is a fantastic way to quickly create multiple products and build highly responsive mailing lists.
Q: Is there such a thing as audio and video PLR?
Yes! PLR Content comes in a variety of formats. When it comes to purchasing audio or video PLR Content, always get a sample first. You want to make sure it’s high quality and will be usable in your marketing. If you don’t see a sample, contact the PLR seller directly and ask for one. Many PLR providers will be happy to do this for you.
Q: What if I don't like the PLR content I've bought?
If you’ve come across PLR content you don’t like, ask yourself how much of it you dislike. Remember, you have the right to rewrite, remove, add to or make the content say more of what you want. It’s normal to need a few changes to the content you bought. PLR sellers often write general content so you can take their work and adapt for your audience.
But if the content as a whole disappoints you or the quality wasn’t what you want, then ask for a refund. Do this quickly though as some PLR sellers have a limited window of time where you can request a refund. That’s why you should always open and review the content you buy as soon as possible.
Q: How can I keep my PLR content organized?
Immediately after you’ve bought new PLR, you should open it and review the content. You can delete any elements that you don’t like. For example, if you buy a large PLR pack and you don’t like the graphics that came with it, delete the graphics and simply keep what you know you’ll use.
After you’ve reviewed the product, create a special folder in DropBox or on your device for PLR content. Store all of your future purchases in this place so you can find the content you need at a glance.
If you buy a lot of PLR content, you can create subfolders by category. For example, you might have a health and wellness website where you like to post PLR. So, have a ‘wellness’ subfolder. If you have a lot of PLR, you can add more categories to your subfolder. That might look something like this:
- My PLR Content > Wellness > Anxiety
- My PLR Content > Wellness > Curing Thrush
- My PLR Content > Wellness > Keto Diet
Some people try to use the PLR seller or date they bought the content as a way of categorizing their content. This can work in the beginning stages when you have less content but if you plan to grow your PLR stash, then it can quickly get confusing.
So, try to sort your content by category if possible. Then it’s easy to find the content you need when you’re ready to use it.
Q: Can I use the PLR content I buy more than once?
Yes! This can be a great way to get the most value from the content you purchase. You can take a series of PLR blog posts and turn it into an email autoresponder series or bundle them to make a short report. You can also take small snippets from those same blog posts and use them as updates on social media. The possibilities are endless!
Q: Why is some content called PLR, RR or MRR? What’s the difference?
Private Label Rights (PLR) allow you to take the content and edit it or change it to your liking. You can also sell the content to others, use it to build your mailing list, add it to your membership site, and more.
Resell Rights (RR) allow you to resell the content to your own customers. However, resell rights differ from PLR since you don’t have permission to edit or change the content. You also cannot claim ownership of the content.
Master Resell Rights (MRR) give you permission to sell the content to your own customers. It also gives your customers the right to sell it to others, too. This can be useful if you work in a business-to-business niche. For example, you sell resources to business coaches. Business coaches can buy your product and sell it to the clients they coach. Their clients can then sell it to their communities.
Q: How do I know what rights are offered with PLR?
Many PLR sellers include a license or terms of service with your download. If you don’t see one, then reach out to the PLR provider. They’ll explain their terms and may point you to a page on their website that details this information.
Q: What should I look out for when buying PLR content?
When it comes to purchasing PLR, you don’t want to get low quality content that you can’t use in your marketing. That’s why the first thing you should do is look for a content sample on the PLR provider’s website. If they don’t have one, reach out and ask. Review this sample copy to see if it’s up to your standards. PLR Content Studio has several FREE PLR Content Packages, which you can review and use in your business today, simply click get your free PLR content.
You should also look over the PLR seller’s website carefully. If their website has lots of typos or it looks like English isn’t their first language, then you may run into some problems if you purchase their content.
Q: What are the benefits of using PLR? I mean, shouldn’t I just write it myself?
Using PLR content saves you time. You could spend 3-6 hours writing and editing just one report or blog post series. That’s before you factor in the time it takes to format your content, schedule it, and promote it on social media.
But if you use PLR, you can take a content pack and turn it into a post series or PDF report in a lot less time. This lets you boost your productivity so you can publish even more content for your hungry community.
Not only do you save time creating content, but you also have content that your community will enjoy. After all, you’ve probably spent hours working on a single blog post that you thought was amazing only to receive a lacklustre response from your community.
But PLR content providers have spent years learning to predict what’s hot in various niches. That means you don’t have to guess what your community wants—the PLR seller has already figured that out for you.
Q: Do I need to change or edit the PLR content before publishing?
That depends on how you plan to use the content. If you want your content to go on your blog, then you should try to edit the post some. This will help you stand out in search engine results when your community is looking for information.
However, if you don’t plan to use the PLR content for web traffic, then using it as-is will be fine. For example, if you take an article pack and upload it as an email autoresponder series, then you’ll only need to tweak it to fit your branding.
Q: Will my customers/readers know I'm using PLR?
Most readers and customers don’t recognise PLR content unless they’re in a niche like ‘internet marketing' where PLR is a common practice.
Regardless of niche, you want to avoid sounding like everyone else, so you’ll want to take your PLR content and re-brand it. This includes removing words that don’t sound like you, adding your own viewpoint, and changing content you disagree with.
Q: How do I edit PLR graphics?
Most PLR sellers offer graphics with their content and some include the source files. You can open the source files and edit the graphic yourself. This can be an easy way to brand the content before you post it to your website or social media networks.
If source files are included with your purchase, they’re usually in PSD format. You can open these files using a program like Adobe PhotoShop.
However, if you don’t have PhotoShop, you can use a website like Photopea to open PSD files for free. Keep in mind that this may not always be a perfect workaround, but it can be useful if you’re just learning how to edit graphics.
Q: What are some tips to evaluate a PLR seller before I buy?
Before you buy from a PLR seller, take the time to download some of their free content. Review this content and pay attention to the voice behind it. Is the content easy to follow? Does it sound choppy and artificial or natural and relaxed?
Next, look at the quality of the information. Is the content factual and full of helpful tips or is it filled with inaccuracies and bias? Is the information tediously repeated again and again with only slight differences each time?
Finally, consider how much of the package you would consider usable. Do you love the audio but hate the graphics? Is the PDF report poorly written but the video is engaging and entertaining?
When you buy a PLR package, you don’t have to use everything inside of it. But it can be helpful to know in advance what a PLR provider’s strengths and weaknesses are. Always review a free copy or sample of a seller’s work before making a purchase.
Q: How do I know the PLR content I want to buy is fresh?
Sign up and join mailing lists for the various PLR sellers that you like. Many of these providers email their list as soon as they have a new product releasing. This means that you can grab the content and use it right away. You can sign up to PLR Content Studio's mailing list (and receive a free guide ‘Boosting Your Business with PLR Content') here.
Another advantage of this is that PLR Content providers often give temporary discounts during the first few days of a new release. Acting quick not only gets your fresh content, but it also allows you to save a little bit of money, too.
You can also ask a PLR seller how recently they released a package or you can check on their website for a date. But don’t worry if a product has been released for a while—as long as you customize the content for your audience, it won’t matter that it’s not brand new PLR.
